Introducing the New Alert Manager

Let HData proactively send you notifications for the specific companies, keywords, and phrases you’re most interested in.

We’ve heard time and again: Our clients spend hours sifting through volumes of documents looking for specific phrases, references, or topics. The FERC eLibrary is a treasure trove of intelligence, but you have to work to find exactly what you’re looking for. Until now.

Introducing: HData Alert Manager.

The Alert Manager lives in your HData dashboard, and allows you to easily set up alerting for individual companies or keywords. You can use broad search terms like “return on equity” to get ongoing notifications anytime that phrase pops up in a FERC form or document, or you can spell out more specific phrases like “ wildfire litigation” to get notifications with fewer, very specific results.

You can also specify which data source to monitor. Currently you can choose from Form 1, Form ⅓-Q, Form 1-F, Form 2, Form 2-A, Form ⅔-Q, Form 6, Form 6-Q,  Form 60, Form 714, and Dockets. (The queryable list will keep expanding as we add more data sources.)

Once you build your alerts, choose how frequently and in which manner you’d like to receive them. You can send the alert to multiple email addresses, or check your dashboard for in-app notifications. Your HData inbox will keep track of all your alert settings and results for easy reference and editing within the platform.

Here’s a quick video to see how easy it is to create your first Alert:

We’re excited about the ways this new functionality will help uncover the intel you need on a day to day basis. You’ll spend less time searching for data, and more time using it to make data-driven decisions. It will help you stay ahead of timely updates and news – and avoid getting caught by surprise.

If you're already a customer, the Alert Manager is live in your HData instance today so log in and play around with it. Or, if you’d like a guided tour of this or any HData feature, request a demo and a member of the team will reach out.
